Why am I here?

I want a Thermomix! I've seen the demo and I love it! But I'm not getting one... I have every kitchen appliance already - everything that the Thermomix will replace including three very beautiful KitchenAid appliances that I am not ready to part with. So I thought hard about what the T can do and why I like it so much and for every quick and quirky recipe I have found so far I have thought - My KitchenAid can do that!

So I am going to use this space to share reworked recipes using the appliances I already have. They may take 5-10 minutes to prepare, instead of 30 seconds, but that's better than 45-60 minutes. Right?
